Giving Back at the Golden Globes Gifting Suites

Celebrities and VIPs attended the gifting suites on January 13 and 14, in honor of the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards. Luxurious gifts, services and hors d’oeuvres were offered, and giving back was the theme of the day!

The Secret Room Event, at the SLS Hotel, Beverly Hills, showcased an array of skincare, handbags, clothing and kids items while benefiting To Write Love on Her Arms and Gobble Gobble Give. The lounge included products from all over the world:  Stephen James Luxury Organics, certified organic, kosher and vegan products;  Pet Head apparel and accessories for pets;  Izzy & Ali,high-quality faux leather handbags;  Mantra Herbal skin care; Dolphin Organics personal care baby products;  Pink Lining designer accessories for kids;  and Baby Hawk stylish baby carriers.
Chick Boss jewelry lured the women in the lounge. Founder Pat Pannell hires individuals in need from Guatemala and trains them to be skilled artisans. Chick Boss doesn’t stop there…fifteen percent of sales from their logo wear go to their Cross the Road Foundation, to enhance educational opportunities in Guatemala!

Sonas Denim caught the eye of CSI Miami detective, Sofia Milos, who sported a white pair of Christine Hip Huggers.  Founded by Gerry Kelly, his patched sixties and seventies style denim was a huge hit!  A portion of production, made from reclaimed denim, makes Sonas a unique find. Ten percent of net profits go to animal welfare, a cause close to Kelly’s heart.
The L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills played host to GBK ‘s luxury lifestyle lounge which featured lavish gifts and beauty services while benefiting the Foundation of Needy Children in Fiji (FENC) and Artists for Global Unity/Stop Bullying Now.  Joe Mantegna, Mickey Rourke and Jennifer Love Hewitt were among the many celebrities who received products from the companies on hand: Crizal no-glare lenses; eos irresistible skincare products; Macadamia Natural Oil healing hair care; TC Intimates shapewear; The Artisan Group handcrafted products; Comphy Co. luxurious bedding; Robert Graham designer fashion; and Sparkling Ice naturally flavored spring water.

Shining in the lounge was the Sandra Brooks Collection which showed off their individually handcrafted jewelry made from stones and elements, sourced from around the world. From antiquarian jade pieces to the modern semi-precious stone and metal designs, each work of art is a true “statement”!
The Dallas t-shirt line, G Wear, stood strong with their commitment to the environment and desire to produce a green” product. Their women and kids tees are 100% cotton and incorporate appliqués cut from recycled t-shirts purchased at local thrift stores. All G Wear shirts are cut, glued and sewn by hand, making each one truly one-of-a-kind.

HBO Luxury Lounge - Glitz and Glamour from Head to Toe

HBO hosted its 10th annual Luxury Lounge this past weekend at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, in honor of the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards.  HBO, along with Mediaplacement, invited stars from hit shows such as Entourage, True Blood and Curb Your Enthusiasm.  For talent and entertainment VIPs, this lounge was a must see!

Inside the Luxury Lounge was the L’Oréal Paris Beauty Suite with professional artists on hand for makeup application, hairstyling and manicures! The suite highlighted a sneak peak of their new product line for both men and women, including shampoos and conditioners, eye shadows, and skincare goods.

New Era sports apparel and accessories was a hit, sporting hip hats and T-shirts at the lounge for men, woman and children.  Guests received a cap of their choice and also had the opportunity to custom design their own cap right there!

Known for their luxurious cashmere, Magaschoni showed off their specialty collection of scarves, wraps and exclusive items from their ready-to-wear collection.

Fragrance lovers were in the right place… Gendarme, a line of fragrance and body care products for men and women, had their original Gendarme scent as well as their Gendarme Moisture Balm at the lounge, which had everyone smelling spectacular!

Nautica included their popular apparel and accessory line, showing off their classic polo shirts, swimsuits and beach towels.

Michael Antonio caught my attention with their fashionable vegan and cruelty-free footwear. They had quite the collection! Whether you were looking for heels to wear to the Golden Globes or boots for a night on the town, they had your feet covered.

And what’s a lounge without liquor? Purity Vodka and Basil Hayden’s bourbon made this gifting suite one to remember…or not?

The classiest of suites…HBO’s Luxury Lounge was one of elegance and style.
